What can I do to fundraise?
You can do anything you want!  Past successful fundraisers have included bar/restaurant nights, foot races, bike races, triathlons, marathons, other sporting events, birthday parties, and weddings.  You can fundraise in memory or in honor of a loved one, or you can fundraise without a specific reason.  The possibilities are endless.

Does it cost anything to register?
We do not charge a registration fee, however, we do strongly recommend that you make a donation upon registering to get things started.  Remember, $50 is all it takes to provide the therapeutic nutritional care needed to save a malnourished child in D.R. Congo.  Imagine what we can do when we harness the power of our connections.

How much should I try to fundraise?
We have a recommended fundraising goal of $500 – that may sound like a lot, but if ten friends donate $50 each, the goal is met!  Your friends and family will be more than willing to help you accomplish your goals; all you have to do is ask.

How do I start a team?

How do I update my personal page?
Log in to your participant center.  Click on the “Personal Page” tab along the top of the page.  You’ll see two boxes, to edit the title and contents of your page.  You can also add photos or a link to a YouTube video using the links on the right side of the page, and edit your thermometer and fundraising honor scroll.  Be sure to click the “Save” button at the bottom of the page before moving along.

How do I send an email?
Log in to your participant center.  Click on the “Email” tab along the top of the page.  You can enter in your email addresses one by one, or use the contacts feature to upload your contacts from an existing email account.  Feel free to use a template provided by Action Against Hunger; we offer templates for fundraising, asking people to join your team, and saying thank you to a donor.  Edit your message as you see fit, and choose a layout from the options along the bottom.  Remember, a link to your personal page will automatically be included.

How do I upload my contacts?
Log in to your Participant Center.  Click on the “Email” tab along the top of the page.  Click on the “Contacts” link on the right side of the page.  If you would like to bring over your contacts from an email account, use “Import Contacts”.  You will then be asked to choose your email provider, and enter your username and password.  Your contacts should then automatically be brought over into your address book.  If you want to type in each contact, use the “Add single contact” link.  If you have a .csv file of your contact, use the “Upload Contacts” link. 

Where can people go to donate?
Log in to your Participant Center.  Click on the “Personal Page” tab along the top of the screen.  Your personal page URL is at the top of the screen.  You can click “URL Settings” to create a more personalized URL for your page.

How do I send in a check donation?
Make sure your name is in the memo line of the check, and mail it in to:

How do I see who has donated to my campaign?
Log in to your Participant Center.  Click the “Progress” tab along the top of the page to see a graph of your progress and a list of your donors.
